[edit] Car options
If you click on a car in your garage, you'll have a number of options. These options are described below.
[edit] Edit/view Technical parts
You can Edit/view the technical parts here. Click here to view the technical parts manual.
[edit] Edit/view Body parts
You can edit/view the bodyparts and bodykits here. Click here to view the body parts manual.
[edit] Swap engine
You can swap engines with this function. Click here to view the engine swap manual.
[edit] Apply modifications
You can permanently modify your car with this. You can, for example, tint your windows, install a rollcage, and so on. All these mods will have effect on the weight, and on stylepoints. After some mods you have to repaint your car, for example when you shave the doors (remove the doorhandles)
[edit] Strip unnessecary parts
You lighten your car with this option. It can save more than 20 kg's in some cases! It will have a huge impact on your ET times. It has one flaw though: You cannot reverse this, and the car will be less worth after stripping it.
[edit] Repair car
You can repair your car with this option, if it's possible. Depending on how well the car is going to be repaired, it takes a while. Your car will receive the status 'Repairing'. During a repair, you cannot race with the car.
If repairing is not possible anymore, you might try using a revision kit.
[edit] Other garage options
[edit] Mechanics
Without mechanics you can repair one car at a time. For every mechanic you hire, you can repair another car. So with 2 mechanics, you can repair 3 cars simultaniously.
You have to pay each mechanic a salary when they gain enough repair experienc. Pay day is sundaynight around 01:00 AM. You can fire the mechanics at any time.
They will automatically leave your garage if you haven't logged in for the last 21 days (60 if you have an Elite membership), or if you don't have any money left for their salary. You also will receive a message about this.
[edit] Garage filter
If you have your garage filled with parts, you'll like this function. You can filter for certain parts or part types.
[edit] Part details
If you click on a part in your garage, you can dump it at the Junk yard. You won't get a lot of money for it though, but you'll get rid of it.
You can also create an advertisement easily, and repair (body) parts, if possible.
It's not possible to revision/refurbish (body)parts).
