[edit] If you just registered

You receive € 10.000,- and the car you chose during the registration process. During a tutorial, the basics of the game will be explained. You will also repair your first car.

It's required that you complete this tutorial, before you can actually play the game. After completing the tutorial, you end up at the Home screen with a repaired car in your garage.

You CAN start part 2 of the tutorial from there, but that is not required.

[edit] The goal of GTRacer

There are no rounds or resets in GTRacer, it is an endless game.

There is also no static "goal", you can decide yourself where to be a master in. Such as drag racing, circuit racing, car meetings, starting up a business, you name it!

[edit] First things you should do

During the tutorial, you have repaired your car. Doing this, the car value goes up. You have two options:

[edit] Tune it for drag racing

This action takes place in your garage. You need technical parts to make your car faster, which you can buy at part shops, found under Shopping. Check out the Quick Tune Guide for help!

[edit] Sell it and make a profit

This action takes place in your car lot, so you have to park your car there. Then click it, and choose 'Sell car' in the options menu.

If you agree on the selling price, you can sell it. You can buy another car with the money you earned, at the Dealerships.

[edit] Ways of making money

There are plenty of ways of making money in GTRacer. The easiest ways are explained here.

[edit] Buying-repairing-selling cars

By buying low quality cars, repairing them, and selling them back, you can make money easily. Not all cars you buy are repairable though. Only if you buy cars at Resto's Reunion you get a guarantee the car is repairable.

Repairing cars is possible on many ways. The easiest is to park it in your garage, go to the Repair tab and click 'Repair car'. During this process only the bodywork (chassis) of the car will be repaired. The body parts themselve will not. You can do that manually by removing the body parts from the car, then go to your part storage and repair the body parts. You can repair body parts instantly.

All the details of repairing cars is found in the Repairing cars guide.

[edit] Win drag races against computer

Winning drag races against the computer is fairly simple. Get yourself a level 1 or 2 car, tune it up to level 3 or 4, and start racing!

If you win a drag race, you earn € 500,-. If you loose, you won't lose any money.

[edit] How to win drag races

Winning drag races against the computer is explained above. Against users is something completely different. We advise to start dragracing with low money bets to get used to the dragracing system.

The trick is to tune your car to the max, without making it an eXtreme car. You can only drag race with Stock, Tuner, or Racer classes.

[edit] How to win circuit races

For every circuit race, there are rules. For example, a Honda 200 HP race. This means that you need a Honda, and it is allowed to have 200 HP max.

A good thing to know is that there are a lot of other factors that have an influence on the circuit performance of a car, such as: (in order of importance)

  • Weight

A lightweight car has a benefit against heavier cars. They need less HP to achieve a specific speed.

  • Handling

Handling counts. A LOT. Make sure you only fit parts on your circuit race cars with positive handling points!

  • Nm/Torque

There is (almost) always a HP limit. There there is NO Nm (Torque) limit, while this value mathers!
