Shop administration

For every business type, there is a specific administration page.

There are business specific options, but also options that counts for every business.

Shop overview

Other exceptions:

• Part shops can not buy unique parts, except for stock unique fuel systems and turbo's.
• Tune shops can not buy unique body parts
• Car dealerships can buy unique (body) parts for their own car brand
• Epic or red (body) parts are not obtainable by any of the shops

General

Advertisements

A shop owner can put up advertising.

This ad will show up on numerous places throughout the game. After activating an advertisement, it will randomly pop up in the following 7 days.

Description

This is the description of your business.

You can use limited HTML here. Try to make this description as fancy as possible, to attract players to buy from you.

Appearance

You can change the font color and background color of your shop, to match for example your logo, or a club style.

It's up to you.

Sell shop

You can sell your shop to other players.

You cannot *delete* your shop. If you'd like that to happen, let the admins know at the GTRacer Administration forum.

Price editor

Part-, Tuneshops, and Car dealerships have the option to mass-change prices with this option.

Transfer money from or to user account

For a fee of 10 % of the transfer mount (with a max of 1000,-) you can transfer money between your user and shop account.

Maintenance costs

The maintenance costs has to be payed sunday night at 00:30 server time. If you do not have enough money on your shop account by then, the shop will be closed and put for sale for the net worth value.

Dealership specific

Buy revision kits

You can buy revision kits with a 10 % discount from wholesale.

Buy used cars

As a dealership, you can buy cars from users that didn't log in the the past half year.

You cannot see which users owns a specific car. You can buy these cars for the car lot value.

Buy new cars

You can buy new cars when the max year value is not more than 2 years ago, with a 10 % discount.

So if it is 2012 now, you can buy cars made from 2010.

Expand dealership

For new dealerships, there is room for 5 cars, 5 revision kits and unlimited (body)parts.

You can expand your dealership in the dealer admin menu. Watch out though, your maintenance costs will rise as well.

Maintenance costs

The costs of running a car dealership depends on the car brand. Visit your dealer admin page, go to financials, and click View maintenance costs to find out your costs.

The costs are based on the average sell price of the cars in the game, of that specific brand.
